1. Agreement to Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using the DeKarma mobile application or website ("Platform"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with Family Shell LLP (LLPIN: ACT-9783) ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), having its registered office in Delhi, India. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Nature of DeKarma — Mutual Aid Network

DeKarma is a hyper-local peer-to-peer mutual aid and neighborhood support network. DeKarma is NOT a gig-economy employer, professional contractor marketplace, transportation network company, medical care provider, or banking institution.

We provide the communication infrastructure to discover nearby needs and verify mutual assistance. Users interact and offer assistance voluntarily as independent community members.

3. Eligibility & Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information (including a valid mobile phone number for OTP authentication).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account.

4. Karma Credits & Non-Monetary Nature

"Karma" is an internal, non-monetary community score used to encourage and track reciprocal assistance:

• No Monetary Value: Karma has no cash value, is not a currency, cryptocurrency, or investment instrument, and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency.
• Non-Transferable: Karma cannot be sold, transferred, or assigned outside the authorized Platform task workflows.
• Escrow Mechanism: Karma held in task escrow is governed automatically by Platform verification rules (QR scan or OTP entry) and is returned to the requester in the event of cancellation.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use DeKarma to:

• Request or offer illegal, hazardous, commercial, or unsafe tasks.
• Engage in, facilitate, or transmit any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE), grooming, or minor endangerment. See our Child Safety Policy.
• Harass, intimidate, stalk, defraud, or discriminate against any member.
• Post tasks requiring medical advice, prescription narcotics, alcohol, or professional nursing.
• Bypass our gated location privacy or misuse personal information seen during a task.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt our backend microservices or API gateways.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND SAFETY OF IN-PERSON INTERACTIONS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMILY SHELL LLP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USER CONDUCT OR IN-PERSON INTERACTIONS.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, India.
