  • Verified Community Profiles: Requesters must have verified phone numbers and emails.
  • No Obligation: You only offer help when you are genuinely free and comfortable with the task.
  • Guaranteed Karma Settlement: Escrow guarantees your Karma credits are awarded upon in-person QR/OTP completion.
  • Report & Block: Zero-tolerance policy against inappropriate requests, harassment, or unsafe conditions.

How Karma works when you help

1. You browse nearby open requests on the map or list.
2. You tap "Offer to Help" on a task you'd like to do.
3. Once accepted, you coordinate, meet, and complete the task.
4. The requester scans your QR code or enters the 4-digit OTP.
5. Karma is credited to your account immediately!

Yes. If you wish to offer assistance as pure community volunteering without collecting Karma, you can select volunteer mode on eligible requests.

No. Karma is NOT money, crypto, or convertible into cash. It is strictly a non-monetary community contribution score used for reciprocal mutual aid within DeKarma.

DeKarma strictly prohibits dangerous, commercial, illegal, or harassing tasks. You can tap the report button directly on any request, and our moderation team will investigate immediately.
